Understand how communication by writing or talking with others and better connection with our community and our environment can reduce the effects of stress.

Understand the role of self-talk, beliefs and thinking styles in stress management.Describe a range of mental strategies that can support healthier cognitions to reduce stress.


8. WAYS OF MANAGING STRESS – LIFE MANAGEMENT

Understand how simplifying and de-cluttering can support stress management.

Define various life management tools and skills that can help reduce stress.


9. WAYS OF MANAGING STRESS – FUELLING YOUR BODY

Identify the ways in which stress can affect eating habits and food choices.

Consider how the different aspects of stress-related eating may affect different demographics.


10. WAYS OF MANAGING STRESS – COMMUNICATE AND COMMUNITY

Gain an understanding of why communication and community are important for health and wellbeing

Define various life and communication tools and skills that can help reduce stress.

Fiona Cosgrove

Fiona is the founder and Managing Director of WCA. With over 30 years experience in the health, fitness and wellness industries, Fiona has a vast depth of experience ranging from health club owner, university lecturer, keynote speaker, wellness coach trainer, counsellor, author and in 2011/2012 was National General Manager of The Golden Door group of health retreats. 

She holds Masters Degrees in Exercise Science and in Counselling and is a certified and licensed wellness coach with Wellcoaches in the US. 

Fiona is passionate about helping people and organisations be the best they can be by recognising that optimal mental, physical and emotional wellness are essential for growth of the individual and within the corporate culture. She is a sought after speakers in many arenas and runs many of the coach training programs. Fiona has written a book “Coach yourself to Wellness” and workbook that supports many of her programs.
